A link and a sermon I would like to share.

Happy rainy monday you all.

I mentioned a website about apologetics in class on sunday.  The site is Stand to Reason.

www.str.org

Greg is guy who gives very profound arguments to help you defend your faith.  If any of you have time check it out and please share any thoughts and ideas.

Also, if you have 25 minutes or so please listen to this sermon.  It was from the MeHarmony series from a church that I sometimes visited.  It really lightened an emotional load on my life and maybe it can do the same for you.  It's called the Judas principle.

It's all about forgiveness in the midst of betrayal/anger. Thanks for the site johnny, it hits you in the heart :)

People say it's impossible to do but of course since we're human. This principle should only encourage us to be more like-Christ through prayer, quiet times, and eventually our whole life.

Nam, I like you perspective of on this. The burdens that can unnecessarily weigh us down can really dampen the walk with God.

I read in the local paper that a kid robbed some Amish kids riding in their buggy. At the court hearing the Amish kids asked for a lighter sentence than that what given to him by the judge. Though the judge did decline the request in order to make a precedent on these types of unnecessary crimes to such passive people. He gave the boy the maximum punishment.

Could you and I do the same in that situation?

yeah it seems like compassion and mercy is foreign in this world. it's perceived as being "passive".

Only through a God that shows us compassion and mercy are we able to show others.
