my news isn't as big as Vi..however..I just thought I'd
let everyone know how EXCITED I am with my week so far.
I am now part of the auction and food committee for
Make A Wish. Some of you probably know about the
Mother's Day Convoy that Make a Wish has every year
on Mother's day...it always takes place near the old church..
well anyway..it's a fundraising event, and I am helping the
auction committee in finding places to help donate items
to be auctioned off during the Convoy. Also - helping find
vendors who will donate/offer food for cheaper value.
So yea.. if any of you guys can think of any suggestions..
please let me know =)
Alrighty my other bigger accomplishment is I will be
writing for the Capital Times - which is Penn State
Harrisburg's Newspaper. It's an amazing opportunity
because not only do students get to read it, but people
who live in the surrounding area too!!!! I'm super nervous
but yea..it was definitely not hard to get the position, however
it's still a tough job hehe

What kinds of things are you looking for to be donated other than food?

i have no idea about business.... i would offer to see me in the office for half price but i don't go to the office.. hehe
ah writing for church?! hehe okay
anyway.. anything for the auction would be great!
food is just a plus bc we have to feed people by selling food at the convoy!
